Every Saturday, De Muziekfabriek features the segment Vrij Spel. In Vrij Spel, presenter Jet Berkhout challenges musicians to breathe new life into a classical work—stepping away from the written notes to search for their own, personal sound.

💞 East meets West in this moving Vrij Spel performance by Farid Sheek, Mohsen Masoumi, and Doriene Marselje. Together, they weave Chopin’s classical elements with Eastern culture—through the daf, harp, and a touch of opera.
