Together with Arben Ramadani and Javid Ardani, Farid Sheek and Mohsen Masoumi form the Parso Quartet—a group of gifted musicians acclaimed for blending Persian music with opera and jazz.
For the George & Eran Summer Festival, Farid and Mohsen now present their own original compositions. Farid performs on piano and the daf (a Persian/Kurdish frame drum), while Mohsen lends his voice. They are joined by Arben on piano and Javid on the ney (Persian flute).
With striking artistry, the quartet fuses Western classical traditions with Persian heritage, complemented by beloved classics such as Fly Me to the Moon, Schubert’s Serenade, and ’O sole mio.
Expect an evening of music filled with longing and passion—yet one that ultimately uplifts the soul.
